Next Development Stage
The next exciting stage of Churton Park is underway with Stage 1 (45 Lots) of our approved 200 lot subdivision currently under construction. This stage involves the extension of Rochdale Drive that will eventually connect with Crompton Avenue, and involves the creation of a new community park incorporating a playground.

Future Growth Area
The developer of Churton Park has been working closely with Wellington City Council and the community on the future expansion of Churton Park into the Upper Stebbings Valley. This area north of the Pylons is currently zoned rural but has been identified as a Future Urban Zone (FUZ) under the Proposed District Plan that was notified by Council in July 2022. The FUZ is underpinned by a development plan that identifies the general roading layout, areas for residential development, no-build areas, parks and walking tracks along the Stebbings Stream.
